Arms smuggling: the current state of the problem
Abstract
The article discusses the current state of the illegal arms market in the world. Armed conflicts breaking out and fading in different parts of the globe, uncontrolled supplies, corruption of officials and other reasons lead to the constant entry into the black market of a large number of weapons that are used by criminal and terrorist groups to solve their far inhumane tasks. Modern international regulatory legal acts regulating the circulation of weapons in the world are not effective. The solution to this problem can be seen in strengthening national legislation, eliminating internal and regional loopholes, improving information and technical support for customs and border authorities.References
